Contract Terminations <br />Occupancy after the Termination Date <br />If the Lessee continues to occupy the premises after the contract is terminated, the Lessee is <br />responsible for the total amount of rent due to the Lessor for the remaining life of the existing <br />contract. <br />Recommendations to Lessees: <br />• Lessee is expected to adhere to the termination date of the contract <br />• Make sure that rent is paid through the end of the contract <br />• Give the Lessor a valid forwarding address prior to move -out <br />• Establish and conduct a move -out inspection with the Lessor <br />• Vacancy of the premises should reflect the appearance and condition at the time of the <br />move -in [with the exceptions of normal wear and tear] <br />• Consult & resolve with the Lessor if damages exceed normal wear and tear <br />Recommendations to Lessors: <br />• Lessor is expected to adhere to the termination date of the contract <br />• Make sure that rent is collected through the end of the contract <br />• Obtain a valid forwarding address for the Lessee prior to move out <br />• Establish and conduct a move -out inspection with the Lessee <br />• Vacancy of the premises should reflect the appearance and condition at the time of the <br />move -in [with the exceptions of normal wear and tear] <br />• Consult and resolve with the Lessee if damages exceed normal wear and tear. <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Bowers Field, Kittitas County Washington. 509-933.8221 <br />
