BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO JACOBS <br />ENGINEERING GROUP TASK ORDER NO. 1— GENERAL ON-CALL <br />ENVIRONMENTAL AND PLANNING ASSISTANCE <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has a Task Order contract with Jacobs Engineering Group for <br />General On -Call Environmental and Planning Assistance; and <br />WHEREAS: The original Task Order No. 1 had a set amount of $50,000; and <br />WHEREAS: This amendment authorizes an additional $40,000 supporting Public Works in the <br />absence of an environmental planner at this time and the additional funding <br />requires Board of County Commission authorization; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has a project requiring environmental permit support for a <br />necessary construction project associated with the Lick Creek Fish Barrier <br />Removal project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Chairman's signature on Jacobs Engineering <br />Group Amendment No. 1 to Task Order No. 1 increasing the amount of the Task Order from <br />$50,000 to $90,000. <br />DATED this 3rd day of May 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
