EVENT OVERVIEW <br />•Goals : <br />–Provide an event in a unique location that will draw riders from Seattle and beyond <br />–Build a foundation for growth into a premier event in the next 5 years <br />•Event overview -PROPOSED <br />–Saturday 7/9 : Prep day <br />•MTB event in Roslyn <br />•Race packet pickup : 5-7 at Dru Bru <br />–Sunday 7/10 : Event day <br />•700 : L and XL start <br />•800 : S and M start <br />•12:00 : First finishers expected from S and M events <br />•6:00 : post ride events (Dru Bru) <br />•Courses –Details next slides <br />–Out and back loops from Cle Elum travelling through the ridge and Teanaway <br />–Short, Medium, Large, and XL course offerings <br />•Only Large and XL use FS and Kittitas Co land/roads <br />–Open to existing traffic –no road closures so riders must obey all traffic laws <br />–Riders will self-support –no motorized vehicles <br />–Minimal amounts of paved roads
