SAFETY PLANS <br />•Traffic control if at the start of the course <br />–By the time riders reach any paved roads in the Teanaway,they will be single or in small groups. <br />–The course will be open to all permitted vehicle traffic so riders must obey all road rules <br />•There are numerous bail out points on all courses –these will be detailed in the rider packet <br />–Salmon le Sac road (all courses) <br />–Middle Fork rd (M, L, XL) <br />–West Fork rd (L, XL) <br />–North Fork rd (L, XL) <br />–Blue Creek Rd (XL) <br />•GPX (directions) course descriptions with escape routes will be provided for all courses <br />•Kittitas Co Sheriff/SAR will be given details and asked for inputs <br />–Ride Director (Erik Olson) has extensive Search and Rescue experience <br />•Riders for L and XL will be suggested to <br />–Carry an emergency locator beacon (ELB) <br />–Help any stranded riders <br />•L and XL riders will be time checkpointed at 29 Pine aid station <br />–If they miss the time cut, they won’t be allowed to continue <br />•Each aid station will be able to ferry riders out in case they can’t continue
