04/05/2022 MINUTES 2 <br />PUBLIC HEARING CARROLL/HAHNEMANN T-HANGAR LEASE AIRPORT <br />At 2:04 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing continued <br />from February 1, 2022, to consider amending the Carroll/Hahnemann T- <br />Hangar Lease. The record was open. <br /> KEN GRANNAN, AIRPORT DIRECTOR provided a Staff Report and said the <br />original Lease was written to include Kelly Carroll, but they no <br />longer want to be a part of the lease and relinquishes all rights <br />and it has been changed to Austin Hahnemann. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. RESOLUTION 2022-088 AMEND T-HANGAR #8 AIRPORT VICE-CHAIRMAN WRIGHT moved to approve Resolution No. 2022-088, and a <br />T-Hangar Ground Lease between Kittitas County and Austin Hahnemann. COMMISSIONER WACHSMITH seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING KCC CHAPTER 3.20.060 COMMISSIONERS <br />At 2:07 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />revisions to Kittitas County Code Chapter 3.20.060. <br /> TAYLOR CROUCH, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT provided a Staff Report and <br />said the Kittitas County Code was updated with the implementation of <br />the Lodging Tax and mirrored the allowed uses in RCW 67.28.1815 – <br />Uses for Tourism Promotion and Tourism Facility. Currently the <br />County Code is more restrictive than the RCW, and the proposed code <br />change would enable the County to use the funds collected to the <br />full degree of the RCW. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> VICE-CHAIRMAN WRIGHT moved to approve the proposed revisions to <br />Kittitas County Code Chapter 3.20.060, and direct Staff to bring <br />back enabling documents at a later date. COMMISSIONERS WACHSMITH <br />seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING KCC CHAPTER 10.07.065 SHERIFF <br />At 2:13 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />adding a new section of Kittitas County Code 10.07.065, as requested <br />by the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Department. <br /> MARK COOK, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR reviewed a Staff Report and said <br />there was recent increases to no parking fees through Kittitas <br />County Courts.
