3.1.4 Output Pages <br />Once a run has been calculated, results (output) pages will be appended to the worksheet <br />(Figure 5). When an input value is changed, results pages are deleted until another Calcu- <br />late is performed. Saving a run saves the worksheet and the values entered into the vari- <br />ous fields. To save computer file storage space, output pages are not saved with the run, <br />but they can be quickly recreated via the Calculate command. <br />17—Table Output <br />Both table and graph outputs were selected for this example. Each output page begins at <br />the top of a new page. In this example, multiple values have been supplied for two input <br />variables (fuel model and 1-h fuel moisture), so a table is produced for each of the select- <br />ed output variables (surface rate of spread, flame length, area, and perimeter). The tabular <br />data for surface rate of spread is located on p. 3 of the run. Pages 4 to 6 (not shown) are <br />table output for the other three variables. Note that the table header includes the descrip- <br />tion from the worksheet as well as the name of the output variable. <br />18—Graph Output <br />A graph is also produced for each output variable. This example shows p. 7 of the output <br />for surface rate of spread. Pages 8 to 10 (not shown) are graphical output for the other <br />three variables. The text entered on the Description line of the worksheet is part of the <br />title. Additional lines are added to the heading because the Long version was selected as <br />an option for the title using Configure > Appearance preferences > Graph Size. <br />19—Variable Code Definitions <br />The last page of the run provides a list of definitions for discrete variable codes. The <br />codes listed on this page are only for the values entered on the worksheet. The other <br />available option is Show descriptions for all discrete variable codes (Configure > <br />Appearance preferences > Worksheet). In that case, all of the available codes are <br />listed on the worksheet under the input line for that variable. It makes sense to show all <br />of the codes for some variables such as spotting source location with only four options, <br />but it is unreasonable to show all of the codes for the 53 standard fuel models on the <br />input worksheet. <br />12 USDA Forest Service Gen.
