Appendix G. Units and Decimals
Units of measure for all variables and the number of decimal places for output variables
can be changed using Configure > Custom units preferences. (The number of decimal
places displayed for input variables is determined by the variable of highest precision
entered in the worksheet.) Changes can be saved as a custom units set and used again
with Configure > Units set selection > Custom. Changes can also be applied to the open
worksheet without saving a custom units set. Changes apply to all variables in a Units
Category as given in this table. Settings for the default English and metric units and deci-
mal set are given. All selections are saved with a worksheet or run.
Units editor
Units category
Variable
English default
Metric default
tab
Units
Output
Units
Output
decimal
decimal
places
places
Fuel &
Fuel Load
.
