BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022 - <br />AWARD THE CONTRACT FOR THE KACHESS LAKE ROAD CULVERT <br />REPLACEMENT PROJECT, CRP 284-18, AND AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY <br />ENGINEER TO EXECUTE THE SAME <br />WHEREAS: The call for sealed bids supporting the Kachess Lake Road Culvert Replacement <br />Project was authorized by the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners on March <br />1, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works solicited bids in accordance with RCW <br />36.77.020 Contract Procedures; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were received and opened on March 17, 2022, at 1:00 pm; and <br />WHEREAS: There were six (6) responsive bids received for review; and <br />WHEREAS: The lowest responsive bid was from Pro Grade Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of <br />$1,038,915.00; and <br />WHEREAS: The County Engineer recommends the lowest responsive bid be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners finds it in <br />the best interest of the County to award the Contract for the Kachess Lake Road <br />Culvert Replacement Project, CRP 284-18 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Engineer is authorized to sign contract <br />documents for said project. <br />DATED on this 5th day of April 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
