The maintenance crew has been working hard all week on cleaning up dead trees and <br />limbs across the grounds to increase public safety and improve tree health. Discussion <br />transitioned to the trees around the property that need to be removed, but do not belong to the <br />County. Several of the trees are on City property. Kady has mentioned to City personnel <br />previously it might be a good idea to have them assessed and treated as they are believed to <br />be a continued safety hazard. Kady will work with Stephanie to send a letter to the City <br />regarding the trees. <br />New LED Bloom lights were installed earlier this week. It really brightened the place up <br />and will be beneficial to users. It will also be an energy saver for the County and should <br />receive a rebate back from the City since upgrading to LEDs. <br />6. Rodeo Grandstands Project Discussion: <br />Discussion about how to move forward with the Rodeo Grandstands project. It would be <br />preferable to start at the west end of the arena at the catwalk to start making improvements as <br />that's currently the biggest concern. Discussed gathering a working group with Carl, Patti, <br />Kady and Commissioner Wachsmith to begin work on the project and pick up discussions <br />with the City on partnering in this project so we can get a phase of it initiated. <br />7.
