BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO Ao2A-[,trLl <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH MAINTENANCE ROCK MATERIALS FOR ONE <br />(1) CALENDAR YEAR FOLLOWING CONTRACT EXECUTION AND AUTHORIZE <br />THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 1,2022,to <br />furnish Maintenance Rock Materials for 2022; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February I7,2022, at2:00 pm in the Kittitas County <br />Public Works Office and one (1) bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Ellensburg <br />Cement Products,Inc. be accepted for Schedules "A", "B" and "C" for <br />Maintenance Rock Materials for one (1) calendar year following contract <br />execution; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2022 Maintenance Rock Materials to <br />Ellensburg Cement Products, Inc. for Schedules ooA",ooB", ando'C", upon such terms and <br />conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s); and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this I't day of March2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COLTNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />fSTL <br />Cory Wright, V
