30. Nondiscrimination: 30.1 The County is an equal opportunity employer. 30.2 Nondiscrimination in Emplovment ln the performance of this Agreement, the contractor will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment on thegrounds of race, creed, color, nationai origin, sex,'seiualorientation, maritalstatus, age or the presence of anli sensory, mental orphysical handicap; provided that the prohibition agiinst discriminationin employment because of handicap shall not apfty if the particular disability glevgnts the proper performance of the'farticular*b*"t involved. The Contractor shall'iak6 suchaction as may be required to ensure full compliance with theprovisions in the immediately preceding paragriphs herein. 31. Prevailinq Wage: Contractor.shall pay the prevailing rate of wages to allworkers, laborers, or mechanicsemployed jn the performance of any part of th'e Work in accordance with RCW 39.12and the rules and regulations of the Department of Labor and lndustries.
