Part 2
Describe the prior success of your eventlaciivityifacility in attraclioll tourists.
We are still collecting our 2021 hotel daia.
Our 201 I and 201 I events grew exponentially and we had hoped for a successful
2020 event which was cancelled due to Covid. ln 2021, we required all attendees
show proof of vaccination which drastically increased our ticket sales.
We had about 500 attendees in 2021 with larger name bands and 10 cider houses.
The PNW Cider Girl (a social media influencer) attended this year and promoted the
event on social media for us. PNW Axe Throwing was a hugely popular addition to
the event, and Ellensburg Hoops also attended adding some flair and uniqueness to
the event.
Brosky's Food Truck provided food for attendees, and Ellensburg Desserts created
unique cider-paired cupcakes for sale at the event.
Using Cognito Forms for on-line ticketing, we collect all emails and mailing
addresses of all tickets sold on line, and all sales of tickets, gift certificates and
promotional give-aways are also added to that database. 2021 attendance data is
aitached as an upload.
ln addition, we have day-of ticket sales purchased at the window. But square does
not capiure addresses, so we'll have to work on that for next year. We have about
300 day-of ticket sales.
ln 2019 Cider houses requested hotel information and camping informalion. adding
at least ten rooms for the weekend that we are aware of.
We also reserve four rooms for the bands for one night each.
This year we had 4 RV overnights representing about 14 people, and 2 tents with 5
people staying on site.
Ticket sales to out of area visitors (50 miles or more) are estimated to be 213 of
total ticket sales based on previous years. ln 2021 we had 500 guests and 60% of
them were from more than 50 miles away.
2500 character linit
3l lmpact
