Audits are a <br />review of the performance and accomplishments to measure and evaluate compliance with the terms of <br />the agreement with State Parks. <br />Compliance <br />lf it is determined that a participating agency is not in compliance with the minimum requirements of <br />the agreement, the State Parks Marine Law Enforcement Coordinator will notify the agency through a <br />Non-Compliance Warning Letter and cite the wording of the agreement. The letter will request the <br />agency responds with a plan to remedy the deficiency per WAC 352-64-060 (3): Revocation of approval <br />"Those counties or local iurisdictions unable to demonstrate compliance with minimum opproval <br />requirements will have forty-Iive doys to submit a plan satisfoctory to stote parks to remedy the <br />deficiencies. lf, after forty-five days, o county or locol jurisdiction is unoble to demonstrate its ability to <br />meet minimum requirements, state parks may revoke the progrqm approval after the county or locol <br />iurisdiction hos had an opportunity for a heoring under chapter 34.05 RCW, the Administrative <br />Procedure Act." <br />Page 64 of 64
