Project Description surnmary: provide a brief summary the project belng proposed and <br />a general description of how it will address homelessness or affordable housing in <br />Kittitas county, Be sure and indicate whether the proposal is intended to provide direct <br />client services or construction, maintenance, or improvement of housing facilities. (2S0 <br />words max.) <br />This proposal is for construction on a lot HopeSource purchased that currently has a <br />slngle-family home in an RM zoned neighborhood, adjacent to an existing multi-famtly <br />structure. The units will be dedicated to homeless households, with a preference for <br />senior, disabled, and veteran households. Our intention is to demolish the existing <br />structure and put in 5 one-bedroom units in one structure. The design and placements <br />of these units will be determined by the architect we hire if the funds are awarded. We <br />have been conditionally awarded half of the construction costs with a contingency that <br />Kittltas County also help to fund the project. <br />2
