Proiect Description Summary: Provide a brief summary the project being proposed and <br />a general description of how it will address homelessness or affordable housing in <br />Kittitas County. Be sure and indicate whether the proposal is intended to provide direct <br />client services or construction, maintenance, or improvement of housing facilities. (2S0 <br />words max.) <br />This proposal is for construction on a lot HopeSource purchased that currently has a <br />single-family home in an RM zoned neighborhood, adjacent to an existing multi-family <br />structure. The units will be dedicated to homeless households, with a preference for <br />senior, disabled, and veteran households. Our intentaon is to demotish the existing <br />structure and put in 5 one-bedroom units in one structure. The design and placements <br />of these units will be determined by the architect we hire if the funds are awarded. We <br />have been conditionally awarded half of the construction costs with a contingency that <br />Kittitas County also help to fund the project. <br />2 <br />C
