BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022 - <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF TRANTECH ENGINEERING LLC FOR <br />SUPPORTING DESIGN OF THE REPLACEMENT OF BRIDGE #89342 VANTAGE <br />HIGHWAY OVER CASCADE CANAL AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE A LOCAL AGENCY A & E <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR THE SAME, CRP 310-21. <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works advertised a Request for Statement of <br />Qualifications For Designing the Replacement of Bridge #89342, Vantage <br />Highway Over Cascade Canal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Submittals were due by January 13, 2022; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: There were four (4) firms that submitted their qualifications for review; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works reviewed the submittals and recommends <br />TranTech Engineering LLC to be the selected design firm; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby select TranTech Engineering for Design of the <br />Replacement of Bridge #89342 Vantage Highway over Cascade Canal, and <br />authorize the Public Works Director to negotiate and execute a Local Agency A <br />& E Professional Services Agreement for the same, CRP 310-21. <br /> <br />DATED on this 1st day of February 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> __________________________ <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br /> <br />Attest: <br />☐ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik __________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz ___________________________ <br /> Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />______________________________
