Too, we are a partner on a Build Back Better grant that would increase student enrollment at Central Washington University and be a springboard for future supply chain businesses. We emphasize economic development of downtown as an economic, tourist, retail, art and cultural, and event destination (Goal ED -4) by partnering with local organizations to implement the downtown economic development plan (Policy B) as exampled by our active involvement and financial commitment to the Creative District planning process, and our work with business startups wishing to locate in the downtown core.
