development of new businesses (Policy B) as exampled by our continued work <br />with site locators, developers and real estate professionals interested in locating <br />a business in Ellensburg, Too, we are in the process of performing a market <br />research project to help best understand the needs of developers interested in <br />Ellensburg and how we can improve service delivery. We encourage <br />development of light industrial uses within the City of Ellensburg (Policy D) as <br />exampled by connecting prospective developers and businesses to commercial/ <br />light industrial space to start and grow businesses. <br />We seek opportunities to grow and sustain a qualified workforce (Goal ED -3) by <br />coordinating with local high schools, higher education institutions, workforce <br />development, vocational rehabilitation, and local businesses to train a workforce <br />that is prepared for emerging job markets (Policy A) as exampled by our active <br />participation in the region's COVID-19 Community Coordinating Committee and <br />CAPS effort.
