I. Governing Law <br />The parties hereto agree that, except where expressly otherwise provided, the laws <br />and administrative rules and regulations of the State of Washington shall govern <br />in any matter relating to an inmate(s) confined pursuant to this Agreement. <br />II. Definitions <br />The Parties hereby agree that the following terms shall have the specified meanings unless <br />indicated otherwise herein: <br />A. Day. A twenty-four hour-long unit of time commencing at 00:00:0I a.m., and ending <br />at23:59:59 p.m. <br />B. Inmate Classifications shall be pursuant to the Kittitas County Jail Objective Jail <br />Inmate Classification which is modeled after the National Institute of Corrections Jail <br />Classification. <br />D "Minimum" classification shall apply to those inmates who present <br />a low risk to staff and the community. <br />Interlocal Agreement for Housing of Inmates <br />Page 2 of11
