Additional lnformation ln 2018, National magazine, Flea Market Gardens, named the show as one of <br />readers' top choice vintage shows to attend. In 20'17, Junk-tiquen in ihe Burg was <br />named one of ihe 12 top vintage markeis in the United States as a musi attend <br />show by National magazine, Flea Market Decor'. <br />Junktiquen in the Burg is gaining a large following of both shoppers and vendors. <br />Vendors spaces aie maxed out with a waiting list and the number of shoppers <br />continues to grow. With COVID hitting, this does set the event momentum back <br />some.Since we have had to cancel the past 3 shows due to COVID, we are <br />anticipating at least a 25% drop in attendance. We anticipate the momentum we had <br />going will have slowed and will need to do work to get it back. ln addition to <br />adjusting our attendee numbers, we are also anticipating in our budget the costs of <br />items being higher as we are currently seeing higher prices. We are also now adding <br />lhings such as PPE that were not typically purchased prior The grant funding would <br />be a huge assistance in helping get the moment going again. <br />Receiving this grant will allow me to build on this and continue to advertise to <br />markets outside of the County and State, drawing more shoppers and vendors from <br />out of the area.
