Future Plans * <br />Application Questions: Parl 4 <br />We will do more research and identify more sponsorship deadlines, to secure <br />padnerships of that nature earlier. <br />Ticket prices will increase incrementally, and we will offer more side events - like <br />paid cider-making workshops - that will attract more attendees and increase <br />tevenue. <br />Keeping great musicians is critical, and balancing what's affordable with whal's <br />exciting and attractive to ticket buyers, will continue to be something that we <br />monitor closely. We also plan to build the parlnership with Chinook Entefainment <br />so that one day the partnership has them paying for the talent and KEEN can focus <br />on other elements of the event. <br />CiderCraft/Sip and NW Cider Association have both indicated thai they would <br />support (sponsor) a juried/competitive program, which would attract the very <br />highest quality products from around the State. NW Cider Assn may help us <br />negotiate the pathways to being able to offer out of state products. Beverage <br />competitions charge entry fees, and that would increase our income and boost our <br />cachet. Which in turn would make us more attractive to sponsors. <br />2500 character lirylit <br />6l Additional lnformation <br />Provide any additional information which will assist the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee in evaluating your <br />project and its benefit to tourism. <br />COVID-19 lnformation lf you had a planned event in 2020 or 2O2 i . whether lbey v/ere able to take place or not, please describe any <br />successes atrd challenges you expe.ie|ced. <br />Our 2021 event came close to being cancelled, but in August we decided to require <br />proof of vaccination in order to attend. <br />Though it led to a few nasiy comments on social media, which were promptly <br />reported, and a few ticket refunds, overall our attendance was really boosted afier <br />announcing the requirement. <br />The change made people feel safe and comfortable at ihis event. We also moved <br />our cider houses out of the indoor rooms at Western Town so that nearly the entire <br />event was outdoors. <br />Those changes allowed our event to be the most successful yet! <br />2500 character limil
