A family friendly, free event kicking off the suntmer season. lt <br />celebrates our Nation, and introduces vrsitors to the many recreational resources <br />that we have to visitors and tourists. <br />The Easton Memorial Day Celebration rs more than a parade, it is a day full of <br />activities. The morning begins with the Easton Volunteer Fire Depadment offering a <br />delicious pancake breakfast for families and visitors, hosted in the Easton School <br />cafeteria. While outside, a couple hundred cars and trucks are filling the schools <br />sports fields and playground area for the Cabin Creek Cruisers Car Show. Also, <br />lining both sides of Railroad Street, a large variety of vendors, are setting up their <br />tents and displaying their wares for all to behold at 10am. At the same time. the <br />KidZone, is being erected. with a display of colors, throughout ihe parking lot and <br />grassy area around Easton School. The KidZone, consists of three areas, one for <br />ages 5 and under (The ones we wish not to squish) consisiing of Bouncy's and <br />Disney movies and activities. Ages 6-12 (The ones with abounding & endless <br />energy.) will include interactive bouncy's such as obstacle courses, jousting and rock <br />climbing wall. Ages 13 to adult category. (Teens and adults that still have the energy <br />to hang.) There will be the Xtreme Quad Air Jumper, radar speed pitch and a <br />Gaming Truck for all. Stading at noon, is the infamous Grand Parade, traveling <br />along Railroad Street, wrapping around the town through First street. Plenty of room <br />for all to catch this amazing parade. Don't forget about the beer garden (usually put <br />on by the Snonrads, a local snowmobilelquad club here in Easton.) For the <br />motorcycle enthusiasts there will be a Motorcycle Show! The Main Stage wrll have <br />afternoon performances for your entertainment. Early evening into the night. there <br />will be a street dance put on by The Hitching Post.
