Future Plans*Gallery One produces a balanced operating budget every year. We are fortunate to
have diverse income streams to help balance any specific program or event
shortcoming. ln addition. we have built up a modest reserve as a parachute. We
have done everylhing we can to not "cancel" events over the pandemic. but instead
reimagine them through a combination of in person and online offerings. Our events
and activities are covered through a combination of ticket sales, sponsorships,
volunteerism, and donations.
2500 character limit
Application Questions: Part 4
6l Additional lnformation
Provide any additional information which will assist the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee in evaluating your
project and its benefit to tourism.
COVID-19 lnformation ll you had a platr[er1 evenl in 2020 or 2021 lvl]ether they w--r€l able to lake plece or noi, please descflbe any
successes aId challeIges you experieIcFid.
Due to the pandemic, Gallery One has had io cancel, postpone or transition many
events and activities. Our response was to make sure that our community near and
far had access to the content by providing online versions of our exhibits, our
classes. our events and our gift shop. We responded in the following ways:
- create virtual learning opportunities through zoom
- create "to-go" art kits with nraterials and instructions
- expand our online gift shop
- conduct PechaKucha events vrrtually
- change our benefit auction and event to a hybrid event
- hire a marketing expert to help push out content virtually
- cancel, postpone or extend exhibits such as First Fridays. President's Dinner, Soup
Line, facility rentals, and studio tours
Some experiments have been better received than others but overall they have
increased our online presence and also to help generate some income for the
organization. PechaKucha while noi profitable currently has over 3,000 views on
YouTube from around the globe.
We are very fortunate to have a brick and mortar location thal can still welcome
visitors into our space offering access to our exhibits and classes in person.
With the support of Lodging Tax funds, we have worked tirelessly to make sure that
our "brand" is not forgotten by our visitors near and far through the above efforts so
that Ellensburg is still known as a place to visit through marketing efforts.
You tlay ttpload arry suppo.ting docunents such as graphs. images. cliagranrs, ararketirg nalerials. etc.
2a22GalleryAne Supplemerrtal Materials.pdf 508.07K8
You are allovr'e.l lo subrrit up to 3 single page (US Letle.) doc{melts in .lFrG. pDf: or flFF lqrnat
7l Previous Lodging Tax Grant Information
2500 character limit
2500 characler linliiAdditional lnformation
Supporting Documents
Previous Years
Awarded Lodging Tax
Grants *
Has your evest received Lodging fax funds in previous years?
, No. this eventlprolect has not previously received Lodging Tax Funding.
. , Yes, 1 year previous
; Yes, 2 years previous
.
