I i,i,l,il,;..l.,i.,lrli <br />SEI.AH SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 119 <br />YAKIMA AND KITTITAS COUNTIES, WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTTON NO. 35-21 <br />CERTIFICATION OF 2O22EXCESS PROPERry TAXES <br />A RESOLUTION of the Board of Directors of Selah School District No. 119, Yakima and <br />Kittitas Counties, Washington, certifying to the Boards of Yakima and Kittitas County <br />Commissioners of Yakima and Kittitas Counties, Washington and the Superintendent of <br />ESD 105, the amount of excess property tiaxes to be levied in year 2021 and collected <br />in year 2022 tor the District's General Fund and Debt Service Fund; and providing for <br />related matters. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SELAH SCHOOL <br />DISTRICT NO. 119, YAKIMAAND KITTITAS COUNTIES, WASHINGTON, as follows: <br />Section 1 Findings and Determinations. The Board of Directors (the <br />"Board') of Selah School District No. 119, Yakima and Kittitas Counties, Washington <br />(the "District") takes note of the following facts and makes the following findings and <br />determinations: <br />(a) By Resolution No. 20-21, the Board adopted a budget for Fiscal Year <br />2021-22 (the '2021-22 Budget') that included certified General Fund Replacement <br />Educational Programs and Operation Levy excess property taxes in the amount of <br />$3,550,1 87 to be levied in 2021 and collected in 2022. <br />(b) The 2021-22 Budget included certified Debt Service Fund excess proper$ <br />taxes to pay debt service on all of the District's outstranding unlimited tax general <br />obligation bonds in the amount of $4,550,000 to be levied in2o21and collectedin?02?. <br />Section 2 Certification of General Fund Excess Property Tax Levy. <br />Pursuant to RCW 84.52.020, the Board certifies to the Boards of County <br />Gommissioners of Yakima and Kittitas Counties, Washington and the Superintendent of <br />ESD 105, an excess property tax levy in the amount of $3,550,187 to be levied in <br />calendar year 2021 and collected in calendar year 2022lor the District's General Fund. <br />Section 3 Certification of Debt Service Fund fxcess Property Tax <br />Lew. Pursuant to RCW 84.52.020, the Board certifies to the Boards of County <br />Commissioners of Yakima and Kittitas Counties, Washington and the Superintendent of <br />ESD 105, an excess property tax levy in the amount of $4,550,000 to be levied in <br />35-21 <br />Page 1
