BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH PETROLEUM AND LUBRICANT PRODUCTS FOR 2022 <br />AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was advertised for Petroleum and Lubricant Products for 2022 <br />on December 9, 2021, and December 16, 2021; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on December 23, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County <br />Public Works Department and five (5) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Co -Energy for <br />Schedule "C" be accepted; and <br />WHEREAS: Two (2) bids were received for Schedule "A" and One (1) bid was received for Schedule <br />"B"; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of A-1 Petroleum for <br />Schedule "A" be accepted; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of AmeriFuel for <br />Schedule `B" be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest <br />of the public, does hereby award the bid to furnish Petroleum and Lubricant Products for 2022 to A-1 <br />Petroleum for Schedule "A'; AmeriFuel for Schedule "B"; and Co -Energy for Schedule "C"; upon such <br />terms and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the contract <br />documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />DATED this 4th day of January 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSION <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />Vice -Chairman <br />Commissioner <br />
