An accessory dwelling unit has its own bathroom, kitchen facilities, <br />living and sleeping areas, though it can share other features with the single-family dwelling <br />including the yard, parking, or storage. See ECC 15.540.040 for special ADU design provisions. <br />“Accessory use” means on the same lot with, and of a nature customarily incidental and <br />subordinate to, the principal use or structure. See ECC 15.310.030 for special accessory use <br />provisions.
