<br />Professional Services Agreement (rev. 09/24/2018) <br />Page 22 of 30 <br /> <br />In Person Visits via Visitor Centers <br /> <br />Physical location and days/hours: <br /> <br />The main Ellensburg Visitor Center is located on 609 N Main Street. The location will <br />be open October thru May six (6) days a week Monday-Friday 9a-5p and Saturday’s <br />10a-2p. May thru September seven (7) days a week Monday-Friday 9a-5p and <br />Weekends 10a-2p. The Cle Elum Visitor Center is open Monday-Saturday from 10a- <br />4p year round, and hours may change slightly due to tourism traffic and contract <br />funding. Staffing includes 4 P/T reception personnel for the front counter, 1 P/T <br />Tourism Assistant, and 1 F/T Tourism +Events Director that supervises and manages <br />the VIC, Festival and Events, Destination Marketing, Collateral, Website and Partner <br />interaction. <br /> <br />Lodging Tax Partners <br /> <br />Partners <br /> <br />Currently the tourism department has a database of over 150close partners that are <br />local businesses featured in our campaign, make up our tourism committee, and/or are <br />involved in County events. We meet with a variety of partners regularly, and work with <br />them to develop tourist-facing content that ties into their various industries. We also <br />feature each partner throughout our tourism marketing campaign on <br />CentralWashingtonOutdoor, MyEllensburg, and DiscoverCleElum.com. <br /> <br />Brochures Produced/Printed <br />The Tourism Department produces approximately 50,000 visitor guides and maps each <br />year that feature activities available including festivals and events, retail, lodging listings <br />and other community information that most travelers will base their trips upon. <br />Additional information to be included in 2022 will focus on our Recreate Responsibly <br />program. While embracing many of the concepts of Recreate Responsibly - we plan to <br />launch the Kittitas County Adventure Pledge. This will shift some of the focus from <br />tourism promotion to tourism management.
