KZTTZT1zL93 COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />Mark Cook, Director <br />Aln'O'\S COpY�I <br />REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS SUPPORTING DESIGN FOR <br />THE REPLACEMENT OF BRIDGE #89342, VANTAGE HIGHWAY OVER CASCADE <br />CANAL KITTITAS COUNTY, WA <br />All submittals received after 5:00 PM Local Time, on January 13 2022 will be discarded <br />PURPOSE: <br />The existing bridge (no. 89342) along Vantage Highway spanning the Cascade Irrigation Canal <br />requires replacement. The existing bridge is currently load restricted and has recent damage from <br />a vehicle accident. The project will include replacing and updating the current bridge, guardrail, <br />approaches, and shoulders all while maintaining the channel for the Cascade Canal. All <br />improvements will need to meet current WSDOT design standards. <br />SCOPE OF PROJECT: <br />The work to be performed by the Consultant consists of preparing preliminary engineering <br />including but not limited to planning, project management, structural engineering, geo technical <br />engineering, traffic engineering, civil engineering, 100% design plans, specifications and <br />estimate package, for the replacement of the structure described. The selected firm will be <br />expected to start on the project upon award and deliver a complete WSDOT approved PS&E <br />package ready for advertisement for construction by July 31, 2022. <br />PROCEDURES FOR SUBMITTAL: <br />If you wish to be considered for work under this SOQ, submit a sealed envelope to Kittitas County <br />Public Works, at 411 N. Ruby St. Suite 1, Ellensburg WA 98926 by 5:00 pm local time on <br />January 13, 2022. Submittals shall include a one-page cover letter with the firm name and contact <br />information.
