<br />2020 Solid Waste and Moderate <br />Risk Waste Management Plan Update <br /> <br />9-10 AX0304191054PDX <br />9.3.2.6 Permit Review <br />SWAC should continue to be included in the review of all new solid waste facility permit requests within <br />the County, although final approval shall continue to reside with the jurisdictional Health Department. <br />Such requests, after review by the SWAC, will be forwarded to the Health Department with SWAC <br />comments. This review will assure adherence to the Statewide Solid Waste Management Plan, Chapter <br />70.95 (165) and (180) RCW. <br />9.3.2.7 Connect SWMP with Emergency Debris Management Plan <br />Research and tie the Kittitas County Emergency Debris Management Plan to the SWMP to assign <br />resources and quality for FEMA funding in the event of need. Solid Waste and SWAC will research how <br />other jurisdictions are doing this. <br />9.3.3 Discussion <br />Each of the options was assessed by SWAC members using the approved criteria. Once the ratings were <br />completed, the options were screened for groupings or clusters to determine which options would be <br />included in the Plan. The results of this activity are shown below. <br />
