Critical Areas Ordinance Update December 7, 2021 <br />Page | 3 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Kittitas County further concludes that this completes Kittitas County’s required <br />process for periodic review in accordance with RCW 36.70A.040. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE KITTITAS COUNTY BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: <br /> <br />The Commission hereby finds that the review and evaluation required by the Growth Management Act, as <br />set forth in RCW 36.70A, have occurred, as described in the recitals above. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE KITTITAS COUNTY BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: <br /> <br />That Kittitas County Code Title 17A is hereby amended with new sections to read as set forth in Exhibit A <br />attached to this ordinance and incorporated herein by this reference. The Critical Aquifer Recharge Area <br />Map is adopted as attached in Exhibit B and the Kittitas County Ecoregions Map is adopted as attached in <br />Exhibit C. The amendments and maps adopted through this ordinance shall be effective on February 7, <br />2022. Information Services is hereby directed to make these changes to the regulations on the County <br />website.
