The project is a week behind schedule due to an employee being out sick <br />the previous week. <br />Carpet for Auditorium Project: Patti requested approval to schedule installation of new carpet <br />in Auditorium. The Board agreed to begin installation on Wednesday, September 22"d. Patti <br />informed the Board the expense was already approved in the budget and could be completed as <br />early as Friday, September 24th <br />Update on New Transfer Station Project: Patti informed the Board that the new transfer <br />station project has moved to the curb and guttering phase and once completed will begin planting <br />the approved plants by the City. She informed the Board this phase should be completed by the <br />end of October. Discussion was held on the status of the short plat and contacting the City <br />regarding the sale of the southern portion of property. Patti informed the Board she was hoping <br />to hear the status of the BRIC/FEMA grant by the end of September or in October, however <br />FEMA may be delayed due to the current hurricanes. Patti informed the board the name of the <br />new road for the transfer station will be Green Avenue. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />Commissioner Osiadacz shared highlights from a previous meeting with Rep. Tom Dent <br />regarding the possible redistricting of the 13th District. Discussion was held on the issues this <br />change would create for Kittitas County.
