BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF KITTITAS STATE OF WASHINGTON RESOLUTION SPECIFYING THE COMPOSITION OF THE BOWLING ALLEY REVIEW COMMITTEE RESOLUTION No. 2021 - 067'� 0 WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners wishes to establish a review committee for the Bowling Alley RFP responses; and WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners have caused research to be conducted with regard to the future use and development of the property located at the intersection of 9' and Poplar that was formerly a bowling alley; and WHEREAS: the decision as to the use and development of this property has the potential for significant economic benefits to the Kittitas County community; and WHEREAS: the Board desires that the Kittitas County community have the opportunity to consider the options available for the future use and development of this property, NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Bowling Alley RFP Review Committee shall consist of representatives from the following groups: 1 (One) members from each of the Commissioner Districts; 1 (one) member from the City of Ellensburg; the Event Center Director, the Maintenance Director and, the Chair, who will be a member of the Board of County Commissioners. The Committee will be staffed by the consultant. Their term of appointment shall be for one years, except the member appointed to represent Kittitas County shall serve "at -will". At any point of a vacancy, including at the time of the initial formation of the committee, the Board of County Commissioners shall advertise for the appointment for these positions. The function of the committee is to make review recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners as to the feasibility or advisability of the proposal to meet the county's needs. The committee shall submit a report of its activities and recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners after completing the scoring and evaluation of the proposals. The Committee members (except the county representative and the chairperson) shall not be considered employees of the county nor receive any compensation or benefits. The committee members (except the county representative and the chairperson) shall not receive county email accounts.
