BOARD OF COUNry COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITIITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />TO AWARD BIDS TO LEASE COUNTY AGRICULTURAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT BOWERS FIELD <br />RESOLUTION <br />No. 2021- I uLl <br />At a Public Meeting on 911,5/2021 a call for bids was authorized for the leasing of county <br />property at the Kittitas County Airport for agricultural purposes; and <br />Sealed bids were opened on Friday, October 8th,2021', at 4:00 PM.; and <br />RCW 36.34.190 states that no lease shall be made by the County except <br />to the highest responsible bidder; and <br />Four (4) bids were received and opened on October 8th, 202L, at the Airport <br />Department office. The bid tabulation is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" <br />and by this reference incorporated herein; and <br />WHEREAS: <br />WHEREAS <br />WHEREAS <br />WHEREAS <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration and in the best interest of the public, does hereby award the leasing of property at <br />the Kittitas County Airport for agricultural purposes to the following bidder(s): <br />Tract 1: Approximately 38.69 Acres <br />Awarded To: Seven Bar LLC, in the amount of 55090.00 Per Year <br />Tract 2: Approximately 27A.7 Acres <br />Awarded To: Blazing Tree Cattle Co., in the amount of 516,377.O0 Per Year <br />Tract 3: Approximately 92 Acres <br />Awarded To: Blazing Tree Cattle Co., in the amount of 56,960.00 Per Year <br />Tract 4: Approximately 70.70 Acres <br />Awarded To: Victor Strand, in the amount of$1507.00 Per Year <br />Tract 5&6: Approximately 342 Acres <br />Awarded To: Victor Strand, in the amount of 510,515.00 Per Year <br />DATED this hA day -2021. at Ellensburg.
