ATTACHMENT 5 <br />Research Subaward Agreement <br />STATEMENT OF WORK <br />If award is FFATA eligible and SOW exceeds 4000 characters, include a Subrecipient Federal Award Project Description <br /> UWSC12491 <br />AMD #1 <br />Project NEXUS <br />(Injection Drug Use Surveillance Project) <br />Scope of Work <br />Subcontract: Kittitas County Public Health Department <br />(Never Share Syringe Exchange) <br />Components 2a* <br />1.Participate in weekly videoconference calls with University of Washington (UW) and other partners to <br />receive guidance and training on Project NEXUS activities. <br />a.Provide ongoing feedback to UW on protocol implementation issues or concerns. <br />2.Recruit and enroll 150 (up to 175) people who inject drugs and their drug using peers to participate in <br />Project NEXUS activities at the Never Share Syringe Exchange at KCPHD. <br />a.Appropriately staff Project NEXUS at your enrollment site. <br />b.Provide Project NEXUS staff and participants with COVID-19 protective materials (e.g., effective <br />facial coverings, and other personal protective equipment). <br />c.Closely adhere to Project NEXUS guidance documents for data collection, participant and staff safety <br />precautions. <br />d.Closely adhere to Project NEXUS timelines and communicate any risks to the timeline. <br />*All work to be completed in collaboration with the UW and other project partners.
