StateofWashingtonDepartmentofEcologyPage7of22AgreementNo:SWMCLCP-2123-KiCoSW-00045ProjectTitle:KiCoSW-00045LitterandIllegalDumpCleanupandPreventionProjectRecipientName:KITTITASCOUNTYSOLIDWASTESCOPEOFWORKTaskNumber:1TaskCost:$66,904.00TaskTitle:LitterPickupandIllegalDumpCleanupTaskDescription:TheRECIPIENTwillbehiringaCrewSupervisorforthesummermonths,JunethruAugust.ThissupervisorwilltakeoutafourmemberYouthCrewtocleanCountyRoads.ThecrewsupervisorwillcoordinatewithPublicWorksMaintenance,andtheSolidWasteDirectortoidentifyproblemroadsandareasinneedofcleanupinKittitasCounty.TheRECIPIENTwillworkwithCentralWashingtonUniversity(CWU)andtheirstudentsduringtheYakimaRiverCleanupProject.Thiseventbrings200plusCWUstudentsandlocalresidentstogethertocleanupthepubliclandsalongtheYakimaRiver,SR821,Highway10,CWUCampusandCountyroadsleadingtotheYakimariverrecreationalareas.Inaddition,theRECIPIENTsupportotherlocalgroups,whichhavecleanupeventsinthecommunity.ThesegroupsincludeEastonMemorialDaycleanupandtheKittitasCountyFieldandStreamIllegaldumpcleanuponpubliclands.TheRECIPIENTwillhavestafftraininginordertooverseeanInmatecrew.ThisoptionwillbeusedduringthemonthswhentheYouthCrewisunavailable.TheRECIPIENTwillcontinuetoworkwithYouthandotherVolunteerGroupstosupportLitterCleanupinthecommunity.EligibleCosts:CrewSupervisorsandYouthCrewsalariesandbenefits,vehiclemaintenance,fuel,litterbags,litterpickers,litterdisposal,safetyequipmentandanyothersuppliesorminorequipmentpurchasesnecessarytodothejob,aslongasthepurchasemeetstherequirementssetforthintheCLCPguidelines.TaskGoalStatement:RECIPIENT'Sgoalistoremovelitterandillegallydumpedmaterialfrompubliclandsandroadways.ProvidelitterandillegaldumppreventioneducationtocitizensofKittitasCounty.TaskExpectedOutcome:ForLitterPickupandIllegalDumpCleanup*1100RoadMilestobecleaned7500Acrestobecleaned10Illegaldumpsitestobecleaned1,000Poundsofmaterialrecycled75,000Poundsoflittercollected1,000Poundsofdebrisfromillegaldumps1,000SupervisorHours2,600TotalCrewHoursTemplateVersion12/10/2020
