KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Sheriff’s Office <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: October 19, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge Lease Agreement between Copiers <br />Northwest, Inc., and Kittitas County. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County previously held a lease agreement with Copiers <br />Northwest, Inc. for 4 machines at the Sheriff’s Office which recently <br />expired. The Sheriff’s Office has conducted an evaluation of their <br />machines, service agreements, and overall pricing vs. another vendor, <br />and has determined that Copiers Northwest, Inc. can best provide the <br />equipment and service needed, and also offer a rate lower than we <br />previously paid. Additionally, the machines are on the NASPO <br />contract, whereby a formal bid process is not needed. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office has reviewed and approved <br />this lease agreement. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge Lease Agreement between Copiers <br />Northwest, Inc., and Kittitas County. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Sheriff’s Office to provide a fully executed Agreement to the BOCC <br />upon signature by Copiers NW. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
