10/05/2021 MINUTES 2
PUBLIC HEARING MARIAN MEADOWS DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT CDS

At 2:08 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened the Public Hearing continued
from July 20, 2021, to consider the Marian Meadows Development
Agreement (DV-19-00001). He noted the record was closed.
DAN CARLSON, CDS DIRECTOR said they received an updated Exhibit B
including new mitigation and a copy of a Voluntary Mitigation
Agreement between the Easton Ridge Land Company and Kittitas County
Fire District #3 and reviewed those documents. He recommended
opening the record to allow inclusion of that information and to
allow public comment specified to only those topics. He said if the
Board were to approve the Development Agreement, Staff could come
back with enabling documents at an upcoming Agenda. DEAN WILLIAMS, ATTORNEY REPRESENTING THE APPLICANT said they appreciated the extra
time to negotiate with the Fire District and recommended approval.
THOSE PRESENT & TESTIFYING SPECIFIC TO NEW INFORMATION SUBMITTED INTO THE RECORD: TERRI CAMPBELL, FIRE DISTRICT #3 acknowledged they
came to an agreement with the applicant.
