RUBY, STE. #1 <br />ELLENSBURG, WA 98926 <br />The intent of this call for quotations (bids) is to purchase Snow and Ice Control Products for the Calendar <br />Year 2022. The material is to be delivered, upon order by Kittitas County to the following locations. <br />Delivery Locations: <br />Five (5) mile Radius of Cle Elum Shop, 51 #5 Mine Road, Cle Elum, WA 98922 — Delivery of <br />Items 2 and 3 Only at this location <br />Five (5) mile Radius of Kittitas County Shop, 14`h & Okanogan, Ellensburg, WA 98926 — <br />Delivery of Items 1, 2 and 3 at this location <br />GENERAL PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS <br />The products to be bid are based on the 2006 Pacific Northwest Snowfighters (PNS), Snow and Ice <br />Control Chemical Products, Specifications and Test Protocols. The PNS Association of British <br />Columbia, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington strives to serve the traveling public by evaluating <br />and establishing specifications for products used in winter maintenance that emphasize safety, <br />environmental preservation, infrastructure protection, cost effectiveness and performance. <br />The PNS Association has developed the Qualified Products List (QPL). The QPL is composed of <br />products that have been tested and found to be in conformance with PNS established specifications. <br />Kittitas County will consider bids containing the following type of products. <br />Item No. Description <br />1 Corrosion Inhibited Liquid Magnesium Chloride <br />2 Non -Corrosion Inhibited Solid Sodium Chloride <br />3 RoadSaver—Soil Stabilizer <br />ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTATIONS: <br />Prospective bidders may bid on any or all of the items. <br />All quotations or any parts thereof may be rejected or accepted by Kittitas County. <br />Kittitas County reserves the right to purchase any of the products quoted from the vendor of its choice <br />based on the availability of the needed material and an estimate of lowest total costs to the County. <br />IIVa'_'a <br />
