MATERIAL PURCHASE SPECIFICATIONS QUOTES TO BE OPENED: OCTOBER 21, 2021, AT 2:00 P.M. KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS 411 N. RUBY, STE. #1 ELLENSBURG, WA 98926 The intent of this call for quotations (bids) is to purchase Snow and Ice Control Products for the Calendar Year 2022. The material is to be delivered, upon order by Kittitas County to the following locations. Delivery Locations: Five (5) mile Radius of Cle Elum Shop, 51 #5 Mine Road, Cle Elum, WA 98922 — Delivery of Items 2 and 3 Only at this location Five (5) mile Radius of Kittitas County Shop, 14`h & Okanogan, Ellensburg, WA 98926 — Delivery of Items 1, 2 and 3 at this location GENERAL PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS The products to be bid are based on the 2006 Pacific Northwest Snowfighters (PNS), Snow and Ice Control Chemical Products, Specifications and Test Protocols. The PNS Association of British Columbia, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington strives to serve the traveling public by evaluating and establishing specifications for products used in winter maintenance that emphasize safety, environmental preservation, infrastructure protection, cost effectiveness and performance. The PNS Association has developed the Qualified Products List (QPL). The QPL is composed of products that have been tested and found to be in conformance with PNS established specifications. Kittitas County will consider bids containing the following type of products. All quotations or any parts thereof may be rejected or accepted by Kittitas County. Kittitas County reserves the right to purchase any of the products quoted from the vendor of its choice based on the availability of the needed material and an estimate of lowest total costs to the County.
