KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2021 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: September 21, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a Public Hearing to consider the adoption of <br />the Annual Construction Program for 2022 and the Six <br />Year Transportation Improvement Program for 2022-2027 <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works has prepared an Annual Construction <br />Program for 2022 and the Six Year Transportation <br />Improvement Program for 2022-2027. <br />Each year Public Works solicits public comment on the <br />annual and six-year plan. Public Works has two open house <br />meetings scheduled, September 28 in Upper County and <br />September 29 in Lower County. In addition to the open <br />house format, the annual and six-year plan is posted on the <br />Public Works webpage along with a comment form. <br />Any revisions to the annual or Six Year Transportation <br />Improvement Plan based on public comment will be <br />presented at the hearing. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing on October 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. to <br />consider adopting the Annual Construction Program for <br />2022 and the Six Year Transportation program for 2022- <br />2027. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing; Draft 2022 Annual Construction <br />Program; Draft Six Year Transportation Improvement Plan <br />for 2022-2027. <br />LEAD STAFF: Joshua Fredrickson, County Engineer. <br />
