KITTITA.SI (C(OI'IYTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: <br />DATB: <br />FROM: <br />Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />September 9,2021 <br />Candie Leader, Administrative Supervisor <br />Pumpkin Festival Special Event ApplicationRE <br />After review of the special event application submitted by Hilary Jensen to host the Pumpkin <br />Festival beginning September 25,2021, through October 31,2021, Kittitas County Public Works <br />has found that the applicant has identified that this event will not obstruct, interfere, or require <br />the closure and free use of public roads and rights of way. <br />The application indicates that all event parking and traffic impacts can be maintained on private <br />property. The event location is accessed from Wilson Creek Road, which is a county road. The <br />applicant is required to ensure that no unmitigated adverse impacts to the traveling public along <br />Wilson Creek Road will occur from this event. <br />Kittitas County Public Works will require that the applicant post "Event Ahead" signs along <br />Wilson Creek Road. <br />Kittitas County Public Works recommends approval of this event with the conditions above. <br />Feel free to contact Kittitas County Public Works with any additional questions or concerns. <br />411 N.
