We will also be applying for funds for this event from the Roslyn Dovrnrtou,n Association, Suncadia Fund for Communrty Enhancement, NKC Tribune Matching Ad Sponsorship Program, and other businesses. Funds that we have received to date have all been used to pay for the newKiosk Structure, landscaping, parking lot improvements, digiial kiosk stand and softr,r,are. Our next major improvement project at the cemeiery will be adding and improving the irrigation system throughoul all 27 cemeteries. We are fortunate to have broad support from various groups in the community where they come and assist with various clean up and improvement projects in the Cemetery. This includes members of ihe Rotary Club, Ethnic Lodges, Fraternal Organizations, Churches, local school groups, CWU students, and members of the Roslyn Ronald Cle Elum Heritage Club. ln 2018 we had over 100 volunteers for one of the Cemetery Clean Up days prior to Memorial Day. Because of Covid restrictions not allowing groups to assemble there was a large drop in ihe number of volunteers for the Cemetery Clean Up days. Despite the State's Stay at Home Order that was in place families were still seen cleaning up gravesites and different areas of the cemeteries. These volunteer hours total hundreds, if nol thousands of volunteers every year For this specific event we have estimated the volunteer hours on a spreadsheet that has been uploaded to this application. Our inient is to use this funding for expenses that vrc normally r.r,ould not have. Our preference is to use the donations already procured for improvements and maintenance of the Roslyn Cemetery.
