Response 3: <br />Measuring Results* <br />Application Questions: Part 3 <br />lbscribe how you will pronnte your evenVaclivityfacility to attract tourisis. <br />We have a list of past donors and volunteers, all of whom will receive a personal <br />invitation with a schedule of evenis so they can plan ahead for their lodging needs. <br />This list consists of over 200 people, 53% r.d-ro reside outside of Kittitas County. <br />The Order Sons and Daughters of ltaly Lodge Cle Elum solicited and received <br />funds for their monument from 67 donors. Their organizalion has 1600 members <br />within 16 lodges located in Washington and Oregon. lnformation about our event <br />will be shared through their group as rir,ell. <br />The Boulet Theatre Group will also share and cross advertise the event as they <br />are involved with ihe Living History Presentations part of our event. These <br />presentations share the stories of four people that are interred in the Roslyn <br />Cemetery. <br />Memorial Day r,raeekend is one of the busiest tourisi weekends of the year in the <br />Upper Kittitas County and the Cemetery is of greai hisioric and cultural interest to <br />visitors. We will have signage around the area io encourage tourists ihat are <br />already in our area to attend the activiiies lhal are part of our Event. This <br />information will also be shared at all the local hotels and lodging choices in the <br />Upper Kittitas Counly via printed materials and social media. <br />We also have a project with Inland Netir,orks uho are assisting with the creation of a <br />video showing our new kiosk project at the Roslyn Cemetery. The presentation <br />includes an interviewwith a local resident giving a tour of the Cemeiery while <br />sharing stories about some of his relatives that are buried there. This video will <br />initially be shared with attendees of Croatia Fest, an annual celebration held at the <br />Seattle Center in October. Since this large event rron't be held in person this year, <br />people will be able to view it at home and share it with others.
