SEPTEMBER 7, 2021 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz & Commissioner Cory Wright (via Webex). <br /> <br />Others in person and via WebEx: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Jim <br />Goeben, IT Director; Taylor Crouch, Administrative Assistant; Josh <br />Frederickson, Engineer; Paul Sander, Lower County District Court Judge; <br />Kari Elkins, Office Administrator; Carly Brettmann, Communications <br />Director; Arden Thomas, WRP Manager; Mandy Buchholz, Administrative <br />Supervisor; Barb Demory, Lower District Court Administrator; Steve <br />Panattoni, Jail Superintendent; Greg Zempel, Prosecutor; Elishia <br />Harvill, Chief Administrator; Jodi Hammond, Chief Criminal Deputy; Amy <br />Cziske, Treasurer; and approximately 6 members of the public. <br /> <br />Per Governor Inslee’s Proclamation 20-28 et seq., the public was <br />encouraged to join the meeting virtually or in person. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Wachsmith called the meeting to order. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIENCE <br />Chairman Wachsmith led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES - NONE PROCLAMATIONS PROCLAMATION CONSTITUTION DAY & CITIZENSHIP DAY COMMISSIONERS <br />Vice-Chairman Osiadacz moved to approve a Proclamation declaring <br />September 17, 2021, as “Constitution Day and Citizenship Day” and <br />encourages citizens of Kittitas County to attend a celebration at Rotary <br />Park to reaffirm our commitment to a strong adherence to the <br />foundational principles put forth in the Constitutions and laws for <br />naturalization citizenship. Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried <br />3-0.
