08/17/2021 MINUTES 4 CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS - NONE BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS CALL FOR BIDS LEASE AIRPORT PROPERTY – AGRICULTURAL PURPOSES AIRPORT Commissioner Wright moved to continue a Notice of Call for Bids for the Leasing of County Owned Airport Property for Agricultural Purposes, to the September 7, 2021, Agenda Session at 10:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith seconded. Motion carried 2-0. MISCELLANEOUS - NONE EXECUTIVE SESSION At 10:37 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess into Executive Session with Mark Cook, Public Works Director; Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor; Darren Case, Construction Manager; for 15 minutes to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency. Possible action anticipated. At 10:52 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No action was taken. At 10:53 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess back into Executive Session for 5 minutes to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency. Possible action anticipated. At 10:58 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. Direction was given to Staff.
