Board of Health Minutes <br />June 17, 2021 <br />2 of 2 <br />COV ID-19_Updates & New Staff <br />Tristen Lamb updated the board on staffing changes in the department: <br />■ Cambron Walker and Mackenzie Carter have been hired as COVID-19 Vaccine Planning and <br />Outreach Specialists. <br />o Cambron and Mackenzie both introduced themselves, and gave the board a brief update <br />on COVID-19 vaccination efforts, and vaccine rates in Kittitas County and Washington <br />State. <br />BOCC Action Re nest <br />Approve KCPHD Twitter Account <br />Tristen Lamb asked the board for approval to begin a KCPHD Twitter account. Ms. Lamb explained the <br />primary use for the account, which includes a contract to provide community outreach and education <br />related to COVID-19. The board expressed their support for the creation of the account. <br />Department updates <br />Director's Report <br />Ms. Lamb updated the board on the following topics: <br />• IMT Updates and dissolvement <br />• Funding Updates for Public Health <br />■ Legislative Updates, specifically ESSHB 1152. <br />Health Officer Update <br />Dr. Mark Larson updated the board on the following topics: <br />• Delta COVID-19 variant <br />e COVID-19 booster possibility <br />■ COVID-19 case numbers in Kittitas County <br />Other <br />There was a question and discussion regarding medical licensure for out of state physicians/residents in <br />Kittitas County. <br />Meeting adjourned at 11:00 am <br />i <br />Brett achsm h, Chair of the Board of Health <br />Tristen Lamb, Dire <br />Kittitas County P b/ Health <br />Katie Odiaga, Clerk of the Board of Oealth <br />
