8/16/2021 MINUTES 3 <br /> <br /> <br />DISCUSSION/DECISION LONG TERM CARE HUMAN RESOURCES <br /> <br />Lisa Young, HR Director requested the Board consider allowing her to <br />pursue a plan through LTC Solutions. She stated that she will <br />continue to report back. The Board gave Ms. Young approval to <br />proceed. <br /> <br />RATIFY LETTER TO JENNIFER DUANE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright moved to approve and ratify Chair signature on a <br />letter to Jennifer Duane, Senior Broadband Program Specialist with <br />the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding Broadband Infrastructure <br />Program on a Letter of Commitment. Chairman Wachsmith seconded. <br />Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />RATIFY LETTER TO JAY MCGOWAN/COUNCIL COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright moved to approve and ratify Board signature on a <br />letter to Mayor Jay McGowan & the City of Cle Elum Council <br />expressing concerns over the 47 Degree North Major Amendment to the <br />existing Suncadia (Trendwest) development agreement of 2002. <br />Chairman Wachsmith seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />UPDATE COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Carly Brettmann, Communications Director provided updates and <br />received recommendations from the Board on what they felt was a <br />priority focus for her. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis. The assignments for 2021 were <br />determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin meeting <br />on 1-11-2021. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined they would now have all Facebook posts go <br />through the Communications Director and they would discuss them with <br />her during her weekly update. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br />
