BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021-____ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING UPDATED KITTITAS COUNTY PLANNING COMMISION <br />CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, On May 9, 1935, subject to Chapter 44, Laws of 1935, the Kittitas County Board <br />of County Commissioners created the Kittitas County Planning Commission by <br />resolution enumerating its powers and duties for the physical development and <br />general welfare of the county; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Planning Commission functioned until January 1941, when it ceased to <br />continue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, On July 21, 1958, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners re- <br />established the Planning Commission by resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Planning Commission Constitution and By-Laws have not been <br />updated since 2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners desires to update the <br />Planning Commission Constitution and By-Laws; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Planning Commission recommended approval of the attached <br />updated Constitution and By-laws at its June 8, 2021 regular meeting. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />hereby adopts the Kittitas County Planning Commission Constitution and By-laws as attached <br />hereto. The Constitution and By-laws shall replace and supersede any and all previous versions <br />of the Kittitas County Planning Commission Constitution and By-Laws. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this __17th____day of ____August______________, 2021 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
