07/22/21 MINUTES 1 <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright said the Board had been meeting with Phil <br />Backlund and he reviewed a list of the Commissioners goals and <br />priorities for 2022 and beyond. <br /> <br />Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager reviewed the financial reports <br />as well as budget dates, American Rescue Funds, as well as budget <br />training. <br /> <br />Patti Stacey, Solid Waste Director/Interim Maintenance <br />Director/Project Manager reviewed County projects and reported on <br />the new Courthouse Committee. Mark Cook, Public Works Director <br />reviewed both current and future Public Works projects. <br /> <br />Individual departments provided a presentation on their current <br />budget issues, new legislation or requirements, and any anticipated <br />budget increases for the next two years. <br /> <br />There was a lunch break from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Lisa Young, Human Resource Director provided an update on medical <br />insurance and proposed increases based on experience rating, which <br />is not looking good at this point. She said she would have more <br />definitive information within the next couple of months. <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz asked if anyone had ideas on areas the Board <br />could improve on.
