Each Committee member will be entitled to one (1) vote on all issues presented at meetings at <br />which the member is present. Simple majority vote is the primary decision malting method. The <br />committee's goal for a primary decision making method is consensus. Majority is defined as a <br />majority of the appointed committee members. <br />Article 6 - Capital Facility Plan: <br />The Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District Advisory Committee shall each year <br />recommend an annual and 6-year Capital Facility Plan to the Board of County Commissioners. <br />This Capital Facility Plan will be developed utilizing project evaluation criteria that are reviewed <br />and adopted each year by the Committee members. <br />Article 7 — Amendment to Bylaws: <br />The Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District Advisory Committee shall periodically review <br />the bylaws and may propose amendments to the bylaws. Any recommendations agreed upon by <br />the majority of the members shall be forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for <br />approval. <br />Article g — Indemnification of Committee Members: <br />The Board of County_ Commissioners elects to defend and indemnify, its present and former <br />Committee members and officers and their successors. spouses and marital communities to the <br />full extent authorized by lav and the Charter. In addition the right of indemnification shall inure <br />to each Committee member or officer and his/herspouses and marital communities upon his/her <br />appointment to the Committee and the event o£his/her death shall extend to his/her heirs, legal <br />representatives and estate. Each person who shall act as Committee member or officer of the <br />Authority shall be deemed to do so in reliance upon such indemnification and such rights shall <br />not be exclusive of an, other right which he/she may have. <br />Article 8-9 — Adoption: <br />Bylaws are in full force and effect when adopted and approved by the Kittitas County Flood <br />Control Zone District Advisory Committee and the Board of County Commissioners. <br />Article — Bylaws Review: <br />Bylaws shall be reviewed annually by the Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District Advisory <br />Committee and the Board of County Commissioners. <br />*The foregoing Bylaws of the Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District Advisory Committee <br />approved and adopted this 20-231" day of June and approved and adopted by the <br />Board of County Commissioners this 2T'd-28`x' day of M-areWune. 2021. <br />
