Candie Leader
From: Dana Storlie <danastorlie@yahoo.com>
Sent: Friday, May 14, 2021 3:54 PM
To: Kittitas County Public Works
Subject: Barnes rd speed limit
CAUTION: This email originated from outside the Kittitas County network. Do not click links, open
attachments, fulfill requests, or follow guidance unless you recognize the sender and have verified the content
is safe.
To whom it may concern,
Afternoon I am writing this as a resident currently living on barnes rd with concerns of the non posted speed
limit on a country road which per the MUTCD is 50 mph. With at least 15 kids in the neighborhood and the
amount of new development i would greatly appreciate if the posted speed limit would be changed to 35 to
protect our children and grandchildren for years to come. My neighbors and I are all in agreement this should
be done for everyone's safety. You will be hearing from my neighbors in the near future expressing their
concerns as well. Thank you for your time and happy Friday.
Greg and Dana Ogan
710 Barnes rd.
Sent from my iPhone, please excuse brevity and typos
