<br />07/06/2021 MINUTES 7 <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS – NONE <br /> <br />BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2021-100 NEW SUNCADIA/SUNCADIA RESORT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve Resolution No. 2021-100, <br />Authorizing the Transfer of the Suncadia Property & Development <br />Agreement and its Entitlements, Obligations, Covenants, and Conditions. <br />Chairman Wachsmith seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS - NONE <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />At 10:54 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess into <br />Executive Session for 15 minutes with Mark Cook, Public Works Director & <br />Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor, to consider the selection of a site or <br />the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase when public <br />knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a likelihood of <br />increased price. Possible action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 11:09 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve and authorize Chair signature on <br />a Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement between Kittitas County & <br />Teanaway Ridge LLC (when prepared). Chairman Wachsmith seconded. Motion <br />carried 2-0. <br /> <br />At 11:11 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess back <br />into Executive Session for 5 minutes with Patti Stacey, Solid Waste <br />Director/Project Manager/Interim Maintenance Director and Chris Horner, <br />Deputy Prosecutor to discuss & evaluate the qualifications of an <br />applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a public <br />employee. However, subject to RCW 42.30.140 (4), discussion by a <br />governing body of salaries, wages, and other conditions of employment to <br />be generally applied within the agency shall occur in a meeting open to <br />the public, and when a governing body elects to take final action <br />hiring, setting the salary of an individual employee or class of <br />employees, or discharging or disciplining an employee, that action shall <br />be taken in a meeting open to the public. No action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 11:16 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No action <br />was taken. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 11:16 a.m. <br />
